The Old Edgefield Grill
Flavors of the South offered in a Historic Victorian style setting with the ambiance of being warmly welcomed. Our objective is to serve the freshest "Garden to Table" cuisine fused with a variety of menu favorites. We also aspire to make each customer feel welcomed. In more detail, the house we serve in has a deep history in Edgefield. It was built in 1906 as the first brick home in the area and has pressed tin ceilings, fabulous woodwork and pocket doors that add to the ambiance of group gatherings. It has a fascinating and unique style of corrugated brick architecture and proudly sits on a historic spot just off the square in Edgefield. The signature menu items established by Sean Wight, a dear friend of the owner remain established on the menu since opening in April of 1999. The owner, Stan Newsome or his wife Lisha Zhang, will greet you at the door on most visits and welcome you like a family member. You may also be greeted by a family-member or friend; it’s all about southern hospitality. Chef Heather Biddlecome has a long history with the grill and aspires to keep you coming back for her specialized cuisine. Call 803 637 3222 for any requests.
