A true Southern experience from when you walk through the front door. Not only is it an awesome venue, but the ambiance of a Victorian style home built in 1906 in addition to the impressive menu make for a uniquely wonderful dining experience. Many appreciate the architecture of this place, the first brick home in Edgefield, featuring interior that has pressed tin ceilings, and pocket doors. The menu features a recipe of Shrimp N Grits that has been with The Old Edgefield Grill since 1999 and was featured in Southern Living Magazine. Now owned and operated by Stan Newsome the previous dining room manager. Stan is an Edgefield native and has been a part of The Old Edgefield Grill for most of the last 15 years. The Chef is Heather Biddlecome, and is a graduate of The Art Institute of Charleston. She was the prior Sous Chef and has several years experience at The Grill as well. The menu at The Grill has something for everyone and features the freshest local farm to table items. Split Creek Farms, Anson Mill Farms, Titan Farms, Big Smile Farms, and our own local gardens, make for the freshest and organic food possible. Reservations are always appreciated, but not necessary.
